Families suffering from chronic disease and illnesses will gain support via a new mobile app. Thanks to the partnership between Novita’s subsidiary Tali and US-based CareStarter, around 25,000 families will gain support.

Launched in Austin Texas, CareStarter develops an online mobile application which provides information and recommendations for patients before, during and after the diagnosis of a chronic illness.

The application can be accessed via iPhone, iPad, Android devices and web browsers.

Novita (ASX: NHL) is a digital screening, therapeutic and early childhood technology business which uses their breakthrough technology Tali.

Tali uses algorithms inside a game based program to assess and improve attention skills in early childhood.

With 1 in every 59 children in the USA having some form of autism this partnership allows healthcare professionals and parents to access information about the program and purchase the program in line with relevant insurance.

Novita Managing Director Glenn Smith is excited to launch more partnerships after the success of this one.

“We are excited by this partnership as it provides a trusted channel partner in the US healthcare sector for Tali Train,” he said.
