New World Resources (NWC) has intersected more massive sulphides at its Antler Copper Project in Arizona, U.S.

The company has also provided updates regarding its drilling, surveying, and testwork programs at the project.

Drilling

Since New World resumed drilling at Antler in early June, an additional six holes have been completed and massive sulphide mineralisation was intersected in all.

Thick, high-grade mineralisation continues to be identified below previous workings, with a 5.5-metre thick interval of semi-massive and massive sulphides intersected.

Additionally, significant mineralisation was identified in shallow holes which presents evidence of the strong potential of the project.

As mineralisation remains open along strike and depth, New World is drilling additional holes to outline indicated resources, which can be used for future programs.

Results from this program are expected in the upcoming weeks.

Magnetic survey

A recently completed magnetic survey was carried out over the Antler Project to outline the extents of the mineralisation.

A strong magnetic anomaly was detected, spanning a length of more than one kilometre.

A significant portion of the anomaly was poorly tested which gives New World the opportunity to explore and outline possible extensions of mineralisation.

Further, a 400-metre long anomaly lies adjacent with it believed to represent an extension of the project.

Electromagnetic, IP (induced polarisation), and magnetic modelling is now in progress to outline targets for future drill programs.

Metallurgical testwork

One sample is currently being tested, and copper and zinc concentrates have already been produced.

Additional results are expected before the end of the month.

New World is down 7.14 per cent and share are trading for 1.3 cents each at 3:55 pm AEST.
