Abbotsleigh is an independent Anglican early learning, primary and secondary day and boarding school for girls. It is located in Wahroonga, on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales.

Abbotsleigh is a Pre K to Year 12 day and Year 7 to 12 boarding school for girls, with a reputation for excellence for more than 130 years. Abbotsleigh is situated across two campuses on 15 tree studded hectares in Wahroonga.

Each student is encouraged to develop her potential in a caring Christian environment by fostering her pursuit of personal and academic excellence. The school provides a well-balanced education which endeavours to help each girl develop both independence and interdependence, an appreciation of diversity and a philosophy of life which will enable her to be a courageous, constructive and compassionate world citizen with a will to serve.

Abbotsleigh girls can board between Years 7 to 12. The highest priority is placed on ensuring that all girls in the boarding school are nurtured and supported within a safe and secure environment. 

The sport and co-curricular opportunities for students at Abbotsleigh are vast and varied. A wide range of co-curricular programs is open to students to complement the School’s holistic learning opportunities. The School encourages excellence in sporting, music and performing arts areas, and promotes the values of working together and being respectful of others.

Students develop initiative and enhance their leadership skills through Abbotsleigh’s Duke of Edinburgh program, debating and public speaking, and involvement in co-curricular clubs. 

Facilities at Abbotsleigh are state-of-the-art and include a sports precinct, performing arts spaces, a concert hall, assembly hall, drama theatre, music centre, and visual arts spaces- including a photography studio and film studio.

Abbotsleigh values their parent community and places immense importance on families being involved in the school community. This enriches the learning and educational environment for the students.
