Silver Mines’ Managing Director Anthony McClure has held his position at the company since June 2016.

Anthony has had over 30 years of technical, financial and managerial experience across the worldwide resources, minerals and energy sectors.

He has also worked in a number of project management, executive development and financial services roles.

According to Silver Mines, the company possesses the largest undeveloped silver project in Australia and one of the largest in the world – the Bowden project located in New South Wales.

In addition to his role at Silver Mines, Anthony is also on the board of Mekong Minerals, an exploration company targeting Indochina. Here he holds the position of Non-Executive Director.

Recently Anthony left his director position at Planet Gas (now Sky Metals) which he had assumed in 2003. Planet Gas is an ASX listed mineral developer.

Previously Anthony has been a director at Bolnisi Gold, Nickel Mines and European Gas.

Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Geology) degree from Macquarie University, Sydney, in 1986.
