Company Overview

Austpac Resources N.L. is an Australia-based minerals technology company. The Company is focused on the development of technology to convert steel industry by-products, such as furnace dusts and waste chloride solutions into pig iron, zinc oxide and strong hydrochloric acid. It has also developed adjunct technologies to transform ilmenite into synthetic rutile, a feedstock for titanium metal and titanium dioxide pigment production. Its technologies include Enhanced Roasting and Magnetic Separation (ERMS roasting), ERMS SR roasting, Low Temperature Roasting and CLR. ERMS roasting is a controlled roasting process, which conditions ilmenite for selective magnetic separation from gangue minerals.
