  • Auteco minerals (AUT) has announced a maiden inferred mineral resource of 830,000 ounces of gold for its Pickle Crow Project in Canada
  • The estimate, delivered by Cube Consulting, is based on a review of existing data from Pickle Crow, including previous non-JORC compliant resources
  • Drilling is already underway to expand the known resource, which is open in all directions and with walk-up drill-ready targets yet to be tested
  • Visual inspection of the nine initial drill intercepts appear to confirm the geological interpretation, with significant mineralisation, veining, and visual gold intercepted
  • Based on the promising early results, Auteco has doubled-down on its exploration efforts, mobilising a second diamond rig to site and expanding the program from 5000 to 10,000 metres
  • With numerous high-grade targets identified since Auteco acquired Pickle Crow, there remains a power of work to be done through 2020
  • Auteco Minerals has had a boom day, doubling its share price over Monday’s session to close at 16 cents

Auteco minerals (AUT) has announced a maiden inferred mineral resource of 830,000 ounces of gold for its Pickle Crow Project in Canada.

The estimate, delivered by Cube Consulting, is based on a review of existing data from Pickle Crow, including previous non-JORC compliant resources.

Grow the Crow

Drilling is already underway to expand the known resource, which is open in all directions and with walk-up drill-ready targets yet to be tested.

Visual inspection of the nine initial drill intercepts appear to confirm the geological interpretation, with significant mineralisation, veining, and visual gold intercepted.

Based on the promising early results, Auteco has doubled-down on its exploration efforts, mobilising a second diamond rig to site and expanding the program from 5000 to 10,000 metres.

Next steps

The current estimate is based on 15 modelled lodes, and has huge potential for expansion.

Historical drilling outside the current resource yielded some bonanza-grade intercepts including 1.5 metres a 444.4 grams per tonne.

Auteco plans to extend the known mineralised zone at depth and along strike to see just how far the system carries on.

With numerous high-grade targets identified since Auteco acquired Pickle Crow, there remains a power of work to be done through 2020.

Auteco Executive Chairman, Ray Shorrocks, says Pickle Crow has huge potential.

“This maiden JORC resource, which has been independently calculated, confirms Pickle Crow is a significant, high-grade deposit with immense growth potential,” Ray said.

“The resource validates the geological model of our technical team, which in turn supports their view about the scope for further resource growth.”

“This is just the beginning of work at Pickle Crow. Our active exploration has three goals, firstly near-term resources growth focused on adding geological confidence to already identified areas of mineralisation that can be brought into the resource inventory,” Ray added.

“Secondly, extensions to the current known resources which remain open in both along strike and down dip.”

“Finally, new discovery through step-out exploration, with numerous high priority targets identified outside the core trend,” he said.

With early indications of a rich mineralised system and huge remaining exploration upside, Pickle Crow could be a winner for the emerging explorer.

Auteco Minerals has had a boom day, doubling its share price over Monday’s session to close at 16 cents.
