AVZ Minerals (AVZ) has begun trading on the OTCQX Best Market under the ticker code AZZVF.

The OTCQX Best Market is the highest-tier of over-the-counter (OTC) markets on which 11,000 United States and global securities trade.

To trade on the exchange, companies must meet high financial standards, follow best practice corporate governance, demonstrate compliance with US securities laws, be current in their disclosure and have a professional third-party sponsor.

Rimon Law acted as the company’s OTCQX sponsor.

The company will continue to have its primary listing on the ASX.

“The company has long recognised the opportunities provided by the North American capital markets and with a burgeoning interest in the global lithium sector, the company’s majority owned Manono Lithium and Tin project is generating significant investor interest,” Managing Director Nigel Ferguson said.

“We believe AVZ’s admission to the OTCQX Best Market will benefit all of our shareholders, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of the company to US investors, allowing the company to efficiently grow its North American shareholder base.”

Shares were trading 0.27 per cent lower today at 91.8 cents each at 2:18 pm AEDT.
