BetMakers (BET) has been awarded the rights to offer Penn National Gaming’s racing content outside of the US and Canadian markets for fixed odds, booked bets and exchange wagering.

The company will distribute Penn National Gaming’s racing content including data and race vision for over 900 race meetings a year to its customer base.

Under the agreement, the parties have agreed to a revenue share arrangement, with Penn to be paid a minimum guarantee amount every year. The agreement will end on December 31, 2025.

Notably, the agreement is commercially sensitive.

BET’s Global Racing Network delivers racing content to more than 30 countries around the globe and offers rights holders in new markets. The network will now distribute more than 1400 race meeting annually from the North American market.

“We are delighted to offer Penn’s first-rate content to a global audience and increase
the awareness of the valuable content US racetracks have to offer,” BetMakers Partnership Manager Kerry Gatten said.

“It is exciting that we get to deliver Penn’s extensive racing content into our network
of operators globally.”

On the market, BET shares were up 2.9 per cent to trade at 35.5 cents at 10:31 am AEST.
