Bold Park Community School is a progressive and innovative school in Wembley, Western Australia and caters for children aged 18 months to 18 years.

The school facilitates a learning environment that promotes mutual respect, shared learning, reflectivity, creativity, imagination, problem-solving and participation in the life of the community.

The aim of the school is to become the first choice for families seeking a nurturing, child-centred, research and evidence based education that helps to develop confident, resilient, creative, collaborative, responsible and respectful children capable of thriving in our ever-changing world.

Bold Park Community School is situated on the edge of Gwelup (Lake Monger) in Wembley, just outside the Perth CBD. The school began as a one room kindergarten in City Beach in 1998, and can now accommodate around 250 students from three to 18 years. In late 2010, BPCS was successful in gaining registration to extend to Years 11 and 12,  providing a unique educational choice for families and students at all levels of schooling.

BPCS is an independent co-educational school, inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, which views children as strong and powerful contributors to their own learning, and gears the curriculum to suit the individual child whilst maintaining government standards. The school has also incorporated Nature Based and Place Based learning in both the curriculum and the outdoor environments.

Bold Park Community School is truly unique compared to other schools for six main reasons:

Exceptional educators – with at least two educators and specialists in every classroom

Human relationships at the heart – with the capacity to consider and mutually respect others, fostering a sense of belonging and shared commitment.

Learning with joy and play -respect for children’s imagination at work and intrinsic motivation of discovery.

Giving time -respect for the uniqueness of how and when, learners learn and valuing reflection, problem solving, metacognition and discussion.

Mindful environments – indoor and outdoor learning spaces are purposefully created to be inviting and inspiring, and to enable exploration and discovery.

Bold Park Community School has a new campus opening in the Perth suburb of Maylands in 2021. This site will cater for students between Years 10-12.
