Bubs Australia (BUB) has entered the vitamin and mineral supplements (VMS) category after inking an agreement with Chemist Warehouse.

Vita Bubs will come in in the form of a chewable tablet or single-serve powder sachets aimed at newborns through to 12-year olds.

These products contain goat milk, colostrum, lactoferrin, and probiotics to aid in bone development, and digestive and cognitive health.

“The vitamin and mineral supplements category provides Bubs with the opportunity to leverage our unique positioning as a children’s nutrition and Australian goat dairy specialist with the launch of a complementary band extensions into this material $2.3 billion category,” Founder and CEO Kristy Carr said.

“The move into the VMS category is consistent with our strategy to evolve into high margin adjacent categories where we know our end consumers and can leverage existing corer competencies and brand reach across multiple children’s feeding and health settings,” she added.

Coinciding with this agreement is the announcement of Jennifer Hawkins as Bubs’ new global brand ambassador.

This partnership covers a three-year term and Jennifer will represent Bubs Goat Toddler Milk, Bubs Organic Grass-fed Cow’s Toddler Milk, Junior Nutrition milk products, cereals and toddler snacks, organic baby food, and the new Vita Bubs range.
