- For now, BuildingIQ has entered an agreement with Lupine to hire Gerd on a part-time basis
- As a result, BIQ will pay Lupine US$5000 per month, with a further US$7000 per month if a significant corporate transaction or capital raise is completed
- On the market this morning, BuildingIQ is down 14.3 per cent and is trading at 0.6¢ apiece
BuildingIQ (BIQ) has appointed Gerd Goette as a part-time Interim President and CEO.
This announcement follows the resignation of Michael Nark last month.
BuildingIQ helps building owners and operators worldwide lower energy use, increase building operations and enhance tenant comfort.
Gerd will work closely with the senior management team in Australia and the U.S., with a special focus on delivering its customer value proposition and optimising cash flows.
Gerd has been a Non-Executive Director of BuildingIQ since 2012. He is also the Managing Director of Lupine Growth Advisors, an advisory firm helping start-ups navigate the growth challenges from minimum viable product to tens of millions in revenue.
The company entered into an agreement with Lupine for the provision of the services of Gerd to be the Interim President and CEO role on a part-time basis.
For this BuildingIQ will pay Lupine US$5000 (approximately A$9000) per month, with a further US$7000 (approximately A$12,600) per month if a significant corporate transaction or capital raise is completed.
Gerd also serves on the board of directors of Sunverge Energy and Zen Ecosystems. Previously, he worked as Managing Partner at Siemens Venture Capital for 18 years, where he was the global head of the energy practice.
On the market this morning, BuildingIQ is down 14.3 per cent and is trading at 0.6¢ apiece at 11:05 am AEDT.
