Bulletin Resources (BNR) has reported rock chip assay results from 37 rock chip samples over a 2.5-kilometre strike at its Ravensthorpe lithium project in WA.

According to the company, the results indicate high underground lithium potential of the Ravensthorpe project which is located 12 kilometres southwest and along strike of Orocobre’s Mt Cattlin lithium mine.

The highest grade samples include 6.54 per cent of lithium oxide, 3.28 per cent of lithium oxide and 3.01 per cent of lithium oxide.

Four main pegmatites have been identified within the 2.5-kilometre strike, with a fifth found further away.

The most promising pegmatite, the Deep Purple is 700 metres long and contains a zone measuring 10 metres by 15 metres in area and contains spodumene crystals up to 20 centimetres in length with grades up to 6.54 per cent of lithium oxide.

Other sites include the Creek, Phillip South, Big and Quarry pegmatites which all returned positive assay results.

According to BNR, future drill planning is underway alongside continued on-ground fieldwork comprising mapping and surface sampling to advance the lithium, caesium and tantalum pegmatite field’s prospectivity.

Bulletin Resources have risen 3.95 per cent to 7.9 cents a share at 3:24 pm AEDT.
