Beauty and wellness company BWX (BWX) has promoted Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rory Gration to CEO and Managing Director, effective March 1.

He will succeed current CEO and Managing Director Dave Fenlon, who will remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Gration has more than 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry and joined BWX in August 2018.

Prior to joining BWX he held several senior roles, including Chief Commercial Officer at Monde Nissin, Managing Director of Commercial at PZ Cussons, and senior managerial roles at Campbell Arnott’s and Coles (COL).

“With our new operations and manufacturing facility opening in March 2022, the Board and Dave believe that now is the appropriate time for [Mr Gration] to step into the Group CEO role,” BWX Chairman Ian Campbell said.

“The Board acknowledges Dave’s significant contribution in transforming BWX into a profitable, global player in the natural beauty and personal care space. We are pleased he will remain on the Board to provide expertise that the company can continue to benefit from.”

Shares in BWX were down 14.5 per cent on the market and were trading at $3.73 at 12:06 pm AEDT.
