Clime Investment Management (CIW) is in discussions to purchase Madison Financial Group (MFG).

Clime is looking to purchase all of MFG’s shares, which is currently in the process of being sold by OneVue.

MFG is a national wealth management business that provides licensing, compliance, technology and support to financial advisory firms.

However, this does not mean the company will come out of the discussions with a final transaction.

“Clime will continue to ensure that it complies with its continuous disclosure obligations, and should a transaction arise which is sufficiently complete or definite to warrant disclosure, it will inform the market as appropriate,” the company said.

OneVue has previously indicated that the Madison sale will be completed in May.

Clime remains steady on the market today, trading for 40.5 cents each at 1:03pm AEST.
