  • Mark Caruso, Chairman of Automotive solutions company Connexion Telematics (CXZ), has resigned as a director
  • The company says Mark resigned due to personal reasons, but that he has been instrumental in the restructure and recapitalisation of Connexion
  • Current director, Robert Downey, has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman
  • Additionally, Connexion has also appointed its current Company Secretary, Peter Torre, as a Non-Executive Director
  • Connexion is down 6.25 per cent on the market this morning and is trading for 1.5 cents per share

Mark Caruso, Chairman of Automotive solutions company Connexion Telematics (CXZ), has resigned as a director.

The company says Mark resigned due to personal reasons, but that he has been instrumental in the restructure and recapitalisation of Connexion. The board has thanked him for his contribution.

Robert Downey, who is a current director, has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman.

New appointment

The current Company Secretary, Peter Torre, has also been appointed as a Don-Executive Director. He is a chartered accountant, secretary and a chartered Governance Professional.

“[Peter] is the principal of Torre Corporate, a specialist corporate advisory firm providing corporate secretarial services to a range of listed companies,” the company told the market today.

Additionally, Peter is a director of ASX-listed Mineral Commodities (MRC), VEEM (VEE) and Volt Power Group (VPR).

“The board looks forward to Mr Torre’s contribution as a director of the company in addition to his ongoing service as Company Secretary,” Connexion added.

Connexion is down 6.25 per cent on the market this morning and is trading for 1.5 cents per share at 11:09 am AEST.
