Corazon Mining (CZN) has begun a new round of drilling at the Lynn Lake project in Manitoba, Canada.

The Lynn Lake Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Sulphide Project hosts a JORC resource of 16.3 million tonnes at 0.72 per cent nickel, 0.33 per cent copper, and 0.033 per cent cobalt for 116,800 tonnes of nickel, 54,300 tonnes of copper, and 5300 tonnes of cobalt.

The drilling program will aim to test discrete, geophysically-dense ‘pipe-like’ bodies within the Fraser Lake Complex (FLC).

These pipe-like bodies are reportedly similar to the ultramafic intrusives and massive sulphide deposits within the historical Lynn Lake Mining Centre.

Specifically, Corazon will complete roughly 3000 metres of aircore drilling across four targets at the FLC.

These targets are four out of eight to 10 targets generated through recent geological surveys.

Corazon said that depending on assays from this phase of drilling, it may choose to drill the other four to six targets.

The drilling program is expected to be completed by the end of the current quarter and results will be announced as they’re received.

Corazon ended the day trading steady at 3.5 cents.
