Creso Pharma’s (CPH) life sciences subsidiary, Creso ImpACTIVE, has appointed three new brand ambassadors to drive product awareness and potential sales.

Creso ImpACTIVE is a CBD-based medicinal product company that is planning to launch in the coming weeks.

The three ambassadors include professional golfers Kelly Whaley and Will Wilcox as well as leading sports performance coach Troy Van Biezen.

Ms Whaley is a breakout US professional golfer and has been touring on the Ladies European Tour and the Epson Tour since 2019.

Mr Wilcox is a former member of the PGA Tour and current PGA professional. He was the three time All-American and 2008 Alabama Amateur before turning pro in 2019.

He recently went viral for opening up about his drug and painkiller addiction, leading to his discovery of ImpACTIVE while looking for more natural therapies.

Dr Van Biezen is a leading sports performance coach and co-founder of LivPur. He has spent more than 20 years working with PGA Tour stars, including world number one Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.

He strongly believes in the ImpACTIVE product as a post-workout/post-sport recovery product, and plans to continue using and offering the product line up to his athletes.

The brand ambassadors have an active social media presence including a focused follower base that the company said represents its target demographic.

Under the terms of the agreement, each new ambassador and their teams will work with the ImpACTIVE marketing team in order to create a library of uniquely branded content such as videos, photographs, social media post templates and sponsored content.

“These signings mark significant progress in ImpACTIVE’s brand progress,” ImpACTIVE Managing Director Brett Ayers said.

“We believe that as more and more prominent athletes and the clinicians they trust come forward in support of CBD, and more specifically in support of ImpACTIVE, that we will
be able to leverage these relationships and grow our name in the athletic space.”

On the market, CPH shares were up 1.28 per cent to trade at 4 cents at 2:05 pm AEST.
