Dateline Resources (DTR) announced it has intersected high-grade gold at its Gold Links Gold Project.

The Australian company’s project is located in Gunnison County, Colorado.

The high-grade gold intersects were part of a 4000-metre underground drilling program at the project.

Assay results are highlighted by one hole that intersected 11.78 grams per tonne of gold and 40.8 grams per tonne of silver over 1 metre.

A second hole sampled 8.54 grams per tonne of gold and 13.3 grams per tonne of silver over 2 metres.

The company says the results are in line with grade and width expectations for the vein.

Further results assay results are pending.

The current phase of the underground drilling program is aimed at extending a mineralized section of the 2150 vein, which was drilled between 1975 and 1985.

Dateline expanded drilling in the area from 10 to 13 holes, of which 10 have been
completed.

“The 2150 vein at the Gold links continues to return results in line with our overall expectations and understanding of it,” Dateline Managing Director Stephen Baghdadi said.

“These two results confirm continuity of the mineralization both up-dip and to the south of previous drill intercepts including the Discovery zone.

“This section of the 2150 vein is shaping up as another target for mining in the near term. We will now focus our drilling on extending this area deeper and to the north.”

Results for five of the completed holes have been returned and five remain outstanding.

The company is hoping to begin commercial production at the Gold Links Gold Project in the near future.

Dateline Resources opened the day trading at $0.077.
