Digital Wine Ventures’ (DW8) WINEDEPOT business has reported exciting growth during March 2021.

WINEDEPOT shipped a total of 25,311 cases last month, representing an increase of over 557 per cent on the same month last year. It also represents a 21.3 per cent increase on the company’s shipments during February 2021. 

In total, WINEDEPOT processed about 12,272 orders during March 2021. This was 504 per cent higher than its orders during March 2020, and 29.3 per cent higher than its orders in January 2021. 

Between over 25,000 cases and over 12,000 orders, WINEDEPOT shipped an average of 2.06 cases for every order they processed.

In addition to seeing encouraging growth in its sales numbers, Digital Wine Ventures’ WINEDEPOT business also grew its portfolio of suppliers. Since its last update, WINEDEPOT signed up another 27 beverage suppliers from Australia and New Zealand.

Some of the new suppliers include Auld Family Wines, Hayes Family Wines, Nick Haselgrove Wines, Pikes, Pirramimma, Schild Estate Wines and Six Barrel Soda. 

Finally, WINEDEPOT has also appointed James Munn as the business’ new Chief Operating Officer. James is the founder of Wine Delivery Australia, which Digital Wine Ventures acquired late last year

He will take over from WINEDEPOT’s former COO, Steven Alexander, who has accepted a General Management role at Lineage Logistics. 

Despite the encouraging update, Digital Wine Ventures is down 5.13 per cent, trading at 18 cents per share at 10:21 am AEST.
