Cybersecurity provider archTIS (AR9) has nabbed another contract with the Australian Depart of Defence (DoD).

Through the one-year contract, archTIS will expand the roll-out of the Kojensi platform within the DoD. This latest development builds on the company’s landmark $4.2 million deal with the DoD late last year.

The expanded deployment is expected to net archTIS around $578,00 — comprising $264,000 in an annual software licences and hardware, with the remaining $314,000 covering service contracts.

The Konjensi platform, which comprises three applications, allows organisations to securely share classified data, a much-needed service as cyberattacks continue to make headlines around the world.

Daniel Lai, CEO and Managing Director of AR8, reiterated that the defence industry continues to be a primary growth target for the company.

“It is pleasing to see the rate of growth for Kojensi and NC Protect in this critical, well-funded market of national security. archTIS continues to be a zero-trust provider to Defence and Defence industry at a time when it has never been more important to securely share information.”

“The trust Defence clients place in our products should provide strong levels of confidence to commercial clients who also need to address the threats and risks of the sharing of their digital information across their partners and supply chain,” he added.

archTIS shares are up 2.75 per cent, trading at 26 cents each.
