Dragontail Systems (DTS) has announced that Pizza Pan Group, Pizza Hut’s Australian master franchisee, has decided to accelerate the nationwide rollout of the Algo Platform.

The Algo Platform will be rolled out into 250 Pizza Hut stores across Australia and will be completed by the end of mid-year 2020.

This platform optimises and manages the food preparation process from order to delivery to speed up your meal.

Pizza Hut Australia and Dragontail’s aim is to present the market with innovative, state of the art modules, using unique technologies that will contain new functions and services.

The success of the first installed stores, performance improvement and customer’s satisfaction, has led the Pizza Hut Board of Directors to expedite the rollout and will allocate all resources necessary.

“In recent months, we have been closely witnessing how the technology improves store operations and, as a result, customer experience,” Pizza Hut Australia CEO Phil Reed said.

“We believe that accelerating the implementation process will lead to tremendous improvement and great impact throughout our stores and among our customers,” he added.

Dragontail’s technology claims to change the restaurants operations and management concepts in the fast food industry.

“Cutting-edge technology, such as Dragontail’s, will be a key enabler in propelling Pizza Hut Australia into the next phase of sustained business growth,” Pizza Hut Australia Chief Information Officer Wayne McMahon said.

On market close, Dragontail shares are down 1 per cent and trading for 9.9 cents.
