Emerge Gaming (EM1) has signed a billing and distribution agreement for ArcadeX with Samsson Gulf FZE.

Samsson is a direct-carrier billing aggregator and content distributor facilitator which provides mobile payment integration, subscription management and content distribution in Nigeria.

Emerge has concluded a billing and distributions agreement with Samsson to distribute and commercialise the ArcadeX platform through MTN Nigeria for a one year term with subject to renewal.

Under this agreement, Emerge will earn 60 per cent of the mobile subscription revenue earned from MTN Nigeria.

ArcadeX is an eSports and casual gaming tournament platform and lifestyle hub.

The platform is tracked via an integrated analytics platform which provides real-time return on investment (RoI) for brands to review live user engagement.

The data also provides insight about the demographics of its users, allowing brands to understand the granular levels of RoI through ArcadeX.

ArcadeX will be integrated into the MTN Nigeria online platform which provides access to the 60 million subscribers of MTN Nigeria.

The agreement with Samsson adds to Emerge’s global mobile distribution network of ArcadeX and provides key data insights.

Nigeria is a promising market which has been identified in addition to previously announced planned country launches.

Emerge is considering adding to the distribution network of ArcadeX via other DCB Aggregators, Mobile Content Distributors and Mobile Network Operators to drive the commercial expansion of ArcadeX.

In light of this news, Emerge’s share price is up 14.3 per cent with shares trading for 1.6 cents apiece at 1:10 pm AEDT.
