Canadian mineral resource company Euro Manganese (EMN) is currently searching for a global partner to help develop its Chvaletice Manganese Project in the Czech Republic.

Financial advisor, Bacchus Capital Advisors (BCA), is assisting the company throughout this process.

The company said it has received expressions of interest from various businesses to help develop the project. Due to this, the board believes it is in the best interest of shareholders to launch a formal global partner search.

Chvaletice is a waste recycling project which is expected to deliver battery-grade, high-purity manganese products.

The project is placed strategically in the heart of Europe’s fast-growing electric vehicle and battery production supply chain. The European Union is emerging as a major market for electric vehicle and battery manufacturing.

While the company has received interest, there is no confirmation that this search will result in an offer.

“Chvaletice stands to become Europe’s only primary producer of high-purity manganese products. Development of this resource is expected to have a significant positive impact on the future of European sustainable battery manufacturing,” the company said.

Euro Manganese and BCA will evaluate all options, with the aim of finding a partner who can best advance and develop the project.

Euro Manganese is up 4.82 per cent on the market this afternoon, selling shares for 8.7 cents each at 2:03 pm AEST.
