Bottega Veneta Pouch – The “it” Bag Everyone Wants to Buy

The latest “it” bag that has everyone talking and wanting to get their hands on is not a bag, but a pouch.

Originally designed by Daniel Lee in 2018, when he came on board as the Creative Director of Italian Fashion super-house, Bottega Venetta.

This soft voluminous lamb leather pouch is the perfect accessory for any occasion and is this season’s must-have bag for two reasons. First, the Pouch has speed. And second, it looks great and can be taken straight from the office to after work drinks or dinner.

It Has Speed

Daniel Lee designed the “pouch” for women on the go. A bag which you can grab and go. A bag for when you’re in a rush and need to throw a few last minute items to get you through the day.

Getting around the city with this number is easy and takes the stress out of feeling like you’re carrying around a jumbo bag that gets in the way of everything. A single compartment lined in natural suede makes it easy to find things, and offers plenty of space for all your everyday things.

What was originally designed as a piece to just get the fashion house through its first season, very soon turned into an online phenomenon, with the Pouch quickly becoming the bestselling bag Bottega Veneta ever sold.

Lee admits he didn’t see how this bag would be a popular item, as there was no logo and no shoulder strap. It wasn’t really that functional, because you had to root around in it.

Made from 100 per cent soft lambskin and woven leather, the Pouch has been designed in a wide range of colours. Our favourites have been the tonal shades of brown hues, neutral beiges and the classic woven black.
