Classic Jewellery | Louis Vuitton’s Blooming Earrings

Since joining Louis Vuitton as jewellery and watch artistic director, Francesca Amfitheatrof has reinvented the French fashion house’s iconic monogram flower in a series of innovative jewellery collections. Having worked as Tiffany and Co’s first female design director, Amfitheatrof has undeniably brought her creative and innovative vision to Louis Vuitton’s high-end jewellery and watch lines.

Designed by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896, the Louis Vuitton bloom has been in need of a reimagining for some time. Fortunately for Louis Vuitton, Francesca Amfitheatrof’s had a vision and drive to bring it to life again. Making it the centre piece of her first jewellery line for the house, the B Blossom Collection was first released in 2019. The innovative line creatively reinterprets the signature bloom in with a pretty collection of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pendants. Using coloured stones, solid gold and luxurious white diamonds, the jewellery collection has turned the classic flower into a modern emblem and gave us the perfect spring jewellery collection.

The monogram flower is now a favoured design within the Louis Vuitton jewellery line and has arguably, inspired more reinventions of the house’s classic designs. The Blooming Earrings are an item that do just that. Featuring the beloved monogram flower, the earrings reinterpret the house’s iconic LV Circle. Paired together as non-identical twins, the charms produce a stylish and contemporary play on two of the house’s classic designs. With its feminine dangling design, the earrings are made from brass and completed with an elegant gold finishing.
