Sustainable Scent: Beauty Brand Costa Brazil Debuts New Perfume

Known for its cult-favourite candles and blended face oils, the beloved brand Costa Brazil has added perfume to its catalogue.

The eco-beneficial beauty line created by former Clavin Klein Creative Director Francisco Costa has launched its first ever perfume and it’s a sure fire hit with the brand’s fans.

Named ‘Aroma,’ the new Costa Brazil perfume continues the brand’s commitment to eco-consciousness created using a vegan and cruelty-free formula with sustainably sourced ingredients.

It boasts a sensual scent of spicy wood, crushed leaves, tropical flowers that channels a soothing and calming olfactory experience.

This unisex fragrance is a deeply personal scent inspired by a natural resin that grows in the Amazon. An aromatic woody eau de parfum, a blend of fresh earth, flowers and crushed leaves, reminds one of waking up in the jungle at dawn.

Branded as a scent for ‘everyone, everything, everywhere,’ the unisex fragrance encompasses mood-boosting and stress reducing phytoncides. It takes cues from the jungles of Brazil combining white jungle flora, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and amber accords.

In 2016, Costa returned to his native Brazil to explore the natural wonders of the Amazon rainforest. While there he discovered rare native fruits, serums and medicinal herbs, new ingredients and local healing rituals.

Through his exploration, he experienced a reconnection to Earth and its elements that have all contributed to the unique Costa Brazil perfume.

Costa Brazil combines the raw power of the natural world with Costa’s unparalleled eye for beauty in a concerted effort to nourish the body, as well as the earth.

The packaging follows Costa Brazil’s attractive minimalist aesthetic, arriving in a custom-designed wooden bottle that’s elegant, sleek and suitably sustainable. It encases a refillable glass flacon allowing buyers to refill and reuse the fragrance.

Coming soon, Costa Brazil is also releasing Aroma as a roll-on fragrance oil made with Pataua Oil, extracted from berries from Seje palms in the Amazon.
