According to Superyacht Australia, our domestic superyacht industry doubled in size during the pandemic, and it seems avid ocean cruisers are still keen to explore the South Pacific and beyond in five-star luxury.

Boasting sundeck jacuzzis, onboard chefs, exquisite suites and high-end cinemas, these extraordinary vessels based in and around Australia function as floating mansions that allow you to travel to far-flung destinations in comfort and style.

Mischief, 54m Baglietto

A$495,000 per week

Built by Italian shipyard Baglietto in 2006, Mischief is the epitome of extravagance with its full-beam master suite, gym, jacuzzi, silent disco, multiple dining areas and sundeck.

Measuring in at 54 metres, this impressive superyacht sleeps up to 12 guests in its six modern and lavish suites and has a capacity of up to 200 guests for events or while cruising. Onboard, guests will have their every need catered to thanks to Luxe Charters’ 24/7 concierge as well as VIP transport to and from the vessel for all passengers. Mischief can also carry up to 13 crew onboard.

De Lisle III’s weekly summer rates start from A$165,000 and sails through the South Pacific and Australasia in the summer and winter.

Sea Raes, 28m Farocean Marine

Designed by naval architect Rene van der Velden and built by Netherlands-based superyacht builders, Moonen, Aurora is a sight to behold. Measuring in at 25 metres, this lavish motor yacht accommodates eight guests in its four lower deck suites.

After undergoing a full refit last year, Aurora is now a revitalised modern haven where guests have no shortage of sophisticated lounging and entertainment areas to enjoy. Not to mention, a host of water toys including two tenders, two Seadoo jet skis, paddleboards and wakeboards.

Aurora is available for charters in the Whitsundays from July 18 until October 2022. From November onwards she will be based in Newport, Pittwater to cruise Sydney or the Hawkesbury River.

Her weekly charter rate is AUD$90,000 (plus 10 percent GST and 30 percent expenses).
