Gambling Website Review Founder Joshua Chan Unloads 7 Bayview Street, Bronte for around $12.5m

Joshua Chan, the founder of one of the biggest online gambling sites, LCB Network, has sold his Bronte home for $12.5 million, reportedly more than $3 million more than the auction estimate.

This is after he purchased a Bondi Beach penthouse $20.1 million at auction earlier in the year, making it Australia’s most expensive apartment ever sold at auction and just shy of an all-time record auction price for New South Wales

The property was co-listed by Raine & Horne Double Bay’s Ric Serrao and PPD Real Estate’s Alexander Phillips and David Tyrrell and sold before it could go to auction.

Chan sold the Bronte estate, which has three bathrooms and four parking spaces, after nearly a decade of ownership after originally paying $4.55 million for it in late 2012.

The three-story Bronte residence was designed by BMA and features two glazed pavilions with graceful curved lines and sculptural skylights that provide a luminous quality throughout.

The beachside home has several indoor and outdoor living areas, as well as a level landscaped garden with a heated pool and entertainer’s cabana in the back.

The upper floor is dedicated to living and entertaining, with a state-of-the-art Calacatta marble and Corian kitchen serving as the social centre of the house.
