Iconic London Venue Casa Cruz Set to Open in New York

Following more than a year’s worth of COVID delays, London’s iconic celebrity hotspot Casa Cruz will finally arrive in New York.

Located in the Upper East Side, the American rendition of the swanky bar and restaurant will be housed in a six-storey townhouse, and all six storeys at that.

While five of the floors will be dedicated to offering Casa Cruz’s signature dishes and cocktails to the general public, the fourth floor will be allocated to wining and dining the restaurant’s investor partners who will have a special wine list and private elevator.

Casa Cruz’s investor partners range from fashion designers to athletes. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Juan Santa Cruz said the idea of his restaurant was to curate a “Casa Cruz family” where investors would get a “dinner plus” experience.

Inside the New York outpost, diners can expect copper tones, wooden finishes, corduroy upholstery and plenty of the fan-favourite dishes from the London location, including the cacio e pepe.

Of the Notting Hill location’s celebrity clientele, Rita Ora, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Madonna are just a few celebrities that have been spotted wining and dining at Casa Cruz.
