Iconic Versace Perfumes: The Dylan Line

Shot against the sparkling Sardinian shore, the Dylan fragrance line takes centre stage in the latest Versace perfume campaign. First released as part of Versace’s Pour Homme collection in 2016, Dylan Blue is one of the brand’s most popular scents. Inspired by the Mediterranean sea, the fragrance collection nods to the brand’s association with the Mediterranean coastline. From Gianni Versace’s Calabrian upbringing to the brand’s Greek mythological Medusa logo, Versace has always expressed a passion for this area of the world. Last year, Versace added a new fragrance to the Dylan collection, the Dylan Turquoise. With three seductive scents to choose from, this is everything you need to know about Versace’s Dylan fragrance line.

Dylan Blue pour Femme

Versace has chosen American model, Bella Hadid, to be the face of the Dylan Blue pour Femme perfume. Embodying strength and sensuality, the Versace perfume reveals the warming notes of wild blooms, patchouli coeur, styrax and white woods. With its feminine curves and deep shade of blue, the fragrance is at home on the sultry Mediterranean coastline. Ideal for wearing on a summers evening, the alluring fragrance has the seducing ability to transport you somewhere new.

Dylan Blue pour Homme

Housed within a squarer and comparatively masculine bottle, the Dylan Blue pour Homme is Versace’s twist on the Dylan Blue fragrance for men. Offering the bolder, spiced notes of ambrox, bergamot, grapefruit and incense, the perfume aims to embody a strong and charismatic attitude for a modern man. The combination of freshness and warmth means that the Dylan Blue pour Homme is an ideal everyday Versace perfume.

Dylan Turquoise

The latest addition to the Dylan fragrance collection is the Dylan Turquoise scent. The lighter, zesty fragrance was created by perfumer Sophie LabbĂ© and was only released last year. Balancing fresh notes of mandarin and lemon with the deeper flavours of wood and musk, the perfume is paired with American model Hailey Bieber, to model its forward-looking and youthful attitude. As one of Versace’s most sustainable perfumes, the fragrance was made with 85 per cent biodegradable ingredients and developed in line with green chemistry principles. Perfect as a soft, everyday perfume, this is one of our favourites.
