Showgrounds Equestrian Centre

The Showgrounds Equestrian Centre has been established at the Perth Royal Showgrounds since 1990. It offers private and group lessons across four terms that each span nine weeks. However, the centre does provide casual lessons as well. The SEC offers holiday programs for school-aged kids as well as pony parties which are ideal for birthdays, Christmas or family picnics. Visitors can also take scenic trail rides no matter their level of horse riding experience.

Jarrahdale Equestrian Centre

Spanning a 150-hectare property on the foothill of Perth’s Darling Range is the Jarrahdale Equestrian Centre. This riding school was opened in 2007 by Australian polocrosse player, Salli Galvin, who set out to create an uplifting place for people to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Jarrahdale Equestrian Centre offers adventure ride-outs, private and group lessons for children and adults, different clubs for children depending on their riding experience, polocrosse lessons, gala days, pony camps, corporate packages and birthday parties.

Brockman’s Riding School

Established for over 50 years, Brockman’s Riding School is the longest-running horse riding school in Western Australia. It offers private, partner and group lessons for children and adults whether they’re beginners with a keen interest or a more experienced rider. Lesson prices range between $80 and $130 and will be taught by fully qualified instructors with significant teaching and horse riding experience. Aside from lessons, Brockman’s services include agistment, pony and horse hire, parties and corporate events, and camps that run throughout the year.

Sandeli Park Equestrian Centre

Established in 2001, the Sandeli Park Equestrian Centre caters for riders of all ages and experience levels who want to learn everything from dressage to jumping or just want to fine tune their skills. Interestingly, this riding school doesn’t just teach at its own centre, it can travel to you for coaching. What else sets the Sandeli Park Equestrian Centre apart? It teaches night jumping for students who want to gain some confidence and also offers beach experiences that run throughout summer on Sunday mornings.
