Australia’s First Floating Luxury Beach Club La Luna Expected To Open Next Year

Gold Coast is already famed around the world as one of the finest beachside holiday destinations – fantasied for its long sandy beaches, stunning surfing spots and theme parks, bars and restaurants. And as if that’s not enough, the stunning location is getting Australia’s first floating luxury beach club.

La Luna, opening in early 2022, will feature indoor fine dining, a spacious pool, day beds, private cabanas, expansive bars, a runway and elegant poolside dining. Stylish luxury mingles with natural vibes to create a comfortable oasis built for relaxation, opulence and rejuvenation.

Created by designers, House of August and Space Cubed, the 840 square metres luxurious paradise is inspired by Mediterranean vibes – a perfect addition to the alfresco lifestyle of the region.

The sprawling site at the iconic Marina Mirage will offer sweeping views across Broadwater by day and twinkling starry skies by night. La Luna’s restaurant will present an elegant drinking and dining experience with a menu expected to bring a Mediterranean fare with an injection of Asian fusion. Combine that with the exquisitely-crafted cocktails and lively DJ sets and the luxury beach club offers a unique escape unlike anything in the area.

The beach club and restaurant will be resting on floating pontoons that sit on the water – a first for Australia. The new venue will add to Pat Gennari’s Gennari Group portfolio joining Koi Broadbeach, Maggie Choo and the Roosevelt Lounge – all Broadbeach locals.

La Luna’s restaurant is set to open in January 2022 with the beach club following suit a little later in the new year.
