Most Expensive Skincare Products

These are some of the most expensive skincare products in the world.

The most expensive face serum

Made by Dr Jurgen Klein, the JK7 Rejuvenating Serum-Lotion is valued at A$2,700 per fluid ounce. To create his innovative skincare formulas, Dr Klein spent over ten years researching and hand-testing over 70 natural ingredients. The rejuvenating serum is made of powerful essential oils and extracts, that can individually cost between A$20,000 and A$50,000 per litre. The serum also uses herbal liposome, proteins and peptides, which work together to offer skin hydration, toning, anti-aging and a noticeable skin glow. The product also uses mangosteen fruit extract, an ingredient that has been scientifically proven to be resistant to melanoma and squamous cancer cells.

The most expensive moisturiser

One of the most expensive moisturisers on the market hails from Japanese luxury skincare and cosmetics brand, Decorte Cosmetics. Valued at A$1,700, The AQ Meliority Intensive Regenerating Multi Cream uses phospholipids and double peptide to sense the most damaged areas of the skin and actively repair them. The cream is made with ultra moisturising, Benifuki extract, which is found on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Yakushima island. Used to improve the skin’s structural stability, the valuable Benifuki extract leaves the skin more receptive to regeneration.

The most expensive anti-aging cream

One of the most expensive beauty brands, La Prairie, also offers one of the most expensive anti-aging creams in the world. Costing A$2,270, La Prairie’s Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Cream is part of the brands anti-aging Platinum Rare Collection. The cream utilises the age-defying properties of platinum to support the skin’s natural rejuvenation processes, promote stem cell renewal and cell functionality. Platinum’s rarity and ability to not erode is undoubtedly the reason for this luxurious cream’s high price.
