Netflix Online Store Offers Limited-Edition Show Merchandise and Collectables

A new way for fans to connect with their favourite stories.


Subscription streaming giant Netflix has stepped into the eCommerce sector. Guided by former Nike Vice President of Product and Merchandising Strategy Josh Simon, now Vice President, Consumer Products at Netflix, the online platform sells exclusive merchandise, apparel, jewellery and collectables inspired by Netflix shows.

Netflix shop enables fans to get their hands on products from beloved Netflix original shows such as Stranger Things, Squid Game and The Witcher. Netflix says the store will be an “exciting new destination combining curated products and rich storytelling in a uniquely Netflix shopping experience.”

Netflix was the most in-demand video streaming service worldwide in 2020 accounting for 53.5 per cent according to Statista. Its online store will also sell Netflix’s own logo-wear releases – the latest a collaboration with Japanese fashion house Beams. Here’s a look at some of the Netflix merchandise released via its online store.

Netflix x Beams – Alice in Borderland 

The streaming services collaboration with Japanese clothing company Beams spawned a range of Netflix branded apparel, accessories and activewear starring Ayaka Miyoshi and Shuntaro Yanagi – who play side characters on Alice in Borderland.

It’s a mix of the basic essentials – black jumpers, sweatpants and t-shirts, combined with a nylon bucket hat, cap, cargo jacket. The accessories include earmuffs, hand warmers with an AirPod case pocket and a small headphones bag. All the items wear the Netflix logo in some form and overall the series has a block black and white theme.

General Mills x Stranger Things

Netflix’s collaboration with the American food manufacturer, General Mills delivers limited-edition boxes of its popular cereals. The exclusive collection features a selection of Stranger Things details in the designs of the Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Lucky Charms boxes.

The apparel in the collection includes a hoodie, long-sleeve t-shirt and t-shirt, beanie, waist bag, and socks. They all feature in a dark black Stranger Things style theme apart from the sock in bright yellow and the hoodie in baby blue – all are adorned with various graphics and Stranger Things logo.

Squid Game Merchandise

The Korean show took the world by storm in 2021 becoming Netflix’s most-watched series as of November 2021. Squid Game merchandise is almost as popular as the collection comprising of apparel and figurines. The clothing features, t-shirts, long-sleeve t-shirts and hoodies with varying Squid Game graphics on a white, pink and black colour palette.

The remaining pieces in the collection are bobblehead figures of the five main characters and a masked worker all standing approximately 4-inches tall. The stand-out piece is a 1/10 scale Young-Hee doll figure that viewers will remember as a crucial part of the first game in the series.

Tracy Tubera x The Witcher

After the success of The Witcher’s sophomore season, Netflix partnered with illustrator and toy designer Tracy Tubera to create an exclusive figure of the show’s legendary protagonist, Geralt of Rivia. The hand-painted collectors’ statue stands at 10.6 inches tall, is limited to 350 pieces and comes in a collectors box with premium embellishments.

Also selling in the collection are two t-shirt and jumper designs inspired by a fan-favourite illustration by Tracy Tubera. The ‘first encounter’ t-shirt is 100 per cent cotton with a silkscreen graphic – the crewneck features unique washed black cotton.
