Italian Precision Meets American Power: The 761hp Mazzanti Evantra Pura Hypercar

Light, powerful and precise with driving pleasure at the heart of its philosophy, the latest in Mazzanti’s Evantra supercar lineup is the Mazzanti Evantra Pura – revealed at the 2021 Florence Biennale art festival in Florence, Italy.

The Italian performance marque, founded in 2002, launched the Evantra – named after the Etruscan goddess of glory – in 2011. Its newest model in the series blends exotic European styling with American power.

The aluminium 6.2-litre V8 reportedly comes from a C8 Chevrolet Corvette tuned and supercharged to produce 761hp. This accelerates the car to a 0-100km/h time of 2.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 360km/h.

Complimented by a seven-speed manual gearbox that handles 6300rpm sent to the rear wheels, the Pura is a car for driving enthusiasts. It weighs just 1290kg sitting on a chassis of high-tensile, boxed-section steel frame and molybdenum chrome, making it effortlessly agile in the corners.

Designed in the Tuscany region of Pisa known for artistic masterpieces, the Evantra Pura is beautiful to look at. Exquisite curves and intricate details surround the Pura and with each element made by hand, there’s no doubt it’s crafted as a luxury hypercar.

Step inside and the opulence continues. Starting with a personalised driving position, everything is completely tailor-made to the creative expression of the customer. The driving seat is configured based on the owner’s measurements taken at the company’s Atelier. The materials on offer resemble something you’d find at a luxury fashion house. It’s a choice of the finest leathers, Alcantara, exotic textiles and lavish furnishings all coming together to make every car unique.

The digital instrument console resembles that of a race car – both compact and sporty. Behind the steering wheel, which can be customised with its own central screen, the dashboard boasts state-of-the-art technology. Data acquisition, a head unit with touch control and an infotainment system with the latest generation of Bluetooth connectivity are all part of the package.
