Off-White Expands into Beauty with ‘Paperwork’

Off-White is the latest luxury fashion brand to expand into beauty with the launch of ‘Paperwork’.

The line of beauty products was launched earlier this week and “represents a new dimension of beauty as a genderless, inclusive art form at the intersection of humanity and individuality.”

Paperwork was conceived by Off-White founder Virgil Abloh before his passing in November 2021. The celebrated designer once described the beauty line as “another surface for human expression.”

Unlike the typical beauty line offerings from the likes of Chanel, Givenchy and Dior, Off-White’s Paperwork presents gender-neutral body stencils, nail polishes and fragrances called ‘solutions’.

Exploring “the notion of fragrance as a statement of self”, the beauty line’s four Solutions were crafted by Abloh in collaboration with celebrated perfumers including Alexis Dadier, Jerome Epinette and Sidonie Lancesseur.

Along with fragrances, Paperwork’s collection features six Imprint face and body pigment crayons, six Color Matter nail polishes and a set of Template stencils to create striking makeup looks like the ones seen on the runway of Off-White’s Autumn/Winter 2022 show.

Off-White’s genderless and boundary-pushing Paperwork joins the likes of Tyler, The Creator’s Golf le Fleur as well as Harry Style’s beauty brand, Pleasing.

Paperwork’s products are available for purchase through Off-White and FarFetch.
