Ralph Lauren Launches Online Store in Australia

It’s now easier for Australians to buy polos and sportswear staples from heritage brand Ralph Lauren following the launch of its Australian eCommerce site yesterday.

The Australian online store covers childrenswear, Lauren Ralph Lauren as well as the brand’s Purple Label, Ralph Lauren Collection and Polo Ralph Lauren line.

According to Rag Trader, the brand said the website launch builds on Ralph Lauren’s “targeted expansion” across Australia.

In June, the Australia-based online store will launch a click-and-collect service allowing shoppers to pick up orders in the brand’s many stores across the country.

The iconic American brand recently opened a brick and mortar store at The Rocks in Sydney and is set to open another its first emblematic store in Melbourne’s Chadstone on Monday, adding to its more than 100 physical stores across the globe.

The brand also presented its Autumn/Winter collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York last week. Honing in on the brand’s sartorial codes and classic silhouettes, the collection was a “celebration of the timeless black and white style.”

A leader in the mid-range to luxury fashion segment, Ralph Lauren reported a revenue increase of 27 per cent, bringing the brand’s net revenue to US$1.8 billion, or approximately A$2.4 billion, in the third quarter of Fiscal 2022.
