The Most Expensive Lamborghini Murcielago’s

Named after a Navarra fighting bull, the Lamborghini Murcielago is the prime example of how a supercar should look. The ‘no design is too wild’ motto changed the automotive industry and shaped the design that is today hailed as The Best Sports Car of All Time.

There’s no denying that a title like this, also comes with a hefty price tag – that isn’t for the faint-hearted. Manufactured between 2001 to 2009, there have only ever been 4,099 of this supercar built. The 2001 Lamborghini Murcielago price will set you back anywhere between A$135,000 up to A$550,000 depending on condition. The Lamborghini Murcielago is regularly featured on ‘The Most Expensive Lamborghini’s’ List’ and is a dream for vintage car collectors and motoring enthusiasts around the world.

2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 Superveloce

Price: Approx. A$680,000

This 2010 LP 670-4 Superveloce is a special example with no rear wing. Delivered in 2010, the owner, a passionate collector, asked for the rare and expensive car modification. Aside from the missing wing, the car has other striking features, most notably the new carbon fibre attachments to the front and rear sections.

The car in itself, without the modifications, is a limited edition series of only 350 Murciélago’s created in lightweight bodies and an increased power output of 670 hp. it makes sense then that the name ‘Superveloce’ translates to super fast as the car can reach a maximum speed of 337 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Carbon-Fiber Murcielago LP-640

Price: Approx. A$1.6 million

Ultra-rare generally means ultra-expensive. This is certainly the case with this Carbon-Fiber Lamborghini Murcielago. The 2009 car was custom created by British tuner Prindiville Prestige and was the most expensive special edition Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster LP-640 at the time. The whole car underwent an upgrade; of the original Lamborghini, only the front compartment lid remains the same. The interior modifications alone cost A$530,000 including; leather upholstery, hand finished aluminium accents and specially engineered air vents.

On the exterior, there’s a more aggressive looking front valance, eye-catching sills, and a more dynamic rear valance. The exhaust was specially designed in titanium and the ‘handle-less’ doors feature remote electric opening. The standout piece however, has to be the all carbon fibre body panels.
