This Los Angeles Mansion Will Set You Back More Than Half a Million Dollars a Month in Rent

Over A$600,000 usually gets you a lovely family home, with four-bedrooms and two-bathrooms, but it would only afford you a month in this massive LA abode.

Welcome to ‘UNICA’, a one-of-a-kind trophy estate with resort-style facilities and luxuries in the privacy of your own retreat.

For roughly A$646,550 a month, you would have the pleasure to live in a truly unique home, with an overwhelming sense of space, with more rooms than you would ever need.

The house, which is located in a posh Los Angeles neighbourhood, has eight bedrooms and a staggering 21 bathrooms, as well as a parking garage for 20 vehicles, a 36-seat theatre, a recording studio, a full-sized basketball court, 1200 bottle wine cellar and a wellness centre.

To say this home is built for entertaining would be an understatement, it has more in common with a sprawling luxury resort than a place to live.

Just in case the other entertainment options weren’t enough, there are seven bars inside, as well as one outside.

The mansion features an expansive floor plan with floor-to-ceiling glass pocket doors that make for seamless indoor-outdoor living, with a serene flow between the two.

The property is the brainchild of Westside Property Group developer Ty Cueva, who tasked Dean Hallo of LA-based Hallo Construction with excavating a chunk of Bel-Air hillside to make room for the house.

The property was listed in early 2020 for an eye-watering US$100 million (A$128 million), but the price would drop to US$78 million (A$100 million) before being offered as a rental through the David Kramer Group.
