Tyler, The Creator’s Golf le Fleur Expands into Beauty

Harry Styles isn’t the only musician diving into the gender-neutral beauty space. Tyler, The Creator’s brand Golf le Fleur has expanded into the beauty market with the release of a three-piece nail polish collection.

Offered in pastel orange, baby blue and a silvery glitter, the three nail polishes are priced at around A$28. Reflecting the bold style the rapper’s known for, the addition of the pastel-hued nail polishes fit seamlessly within the Golf le Fleur brand, which also stocks eccentric fur hats and boldly coloured cardigans.

Tyler, The Creator joins not only Harry Styles, but also Machine Gun Kelley in the quest to break down gender norms with nail lacquer.

In an interview with WWD, the rapper said the release “just felt right”.

The drop of Golf le Fleur’s first beauty product also follows on from the brand’s recent fragrance release. Named French Waltz, the unisex eau de parfum is described as a “rose-musk made for everyone” with notes of mandarin, jasmine, sandalwood, musk, lychee and rose.

Over the weekend, the rapper-designer showcased the brand’s latest vibrant accessories and eccentric high-end apparel in a pop-up perched up on a mountainside in Malibu.

Tyler, The Creator told WWD he wanted people to go somewhere and travel out of their comfort zone.

“I was like, ‘Man, we should definitely make people kind of leave.’ And when they get there, it’s either worth it or it was a waste of f–king time. But either way, they’ll feel some type of emotion,” he said.
