Where To Find The Best Christmas Light Displays in Perth

Perth puts on some pretty spectacular Christmas light displays and going to see the lights is a tradition for many West Australian families. In the name of charity, entire streets will get together and light up their homes with dazzling light displays that delight both kids and adults.

With some of the best Christmas light displays scattered all over Perth, it’s best to make a night of it. Get your friends together, the Christmas tunes playing and have fun exploring these festive streets.

Samson Court, Duncraig

This neighbourhood is united in their fundraising goal and come together to welcome visitors each year, while raising more than A$20,000 for Wheelchairs for Kids. Each year the neighbours on this cul de sac add to their displays, which this year is bigger and better than ever and the atmosphere of the street alone makes it well worth a visit.

Myamba Court and Sherlock Rise, Carramar

Head to the Myamba Court cul-de-sac with the kids and watch them be delighted by the live performances from characters such as Bluey, Olaf and the Trolls. At Sherlock Rise, you will find even more characters to meet, snow machines and even a giant sleigh for those that fancy trialling Santa’s job for the evening.

Consulate Court, Thornlie

The Consulate Court Christmas Lights have been going for over 23 years. Every year, the cul-de-sac’s residents come together and decorate their homes in the spirit of Christmas. Consulate Court partners with the Children’s Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation, the street runs a festive calendar full of bake sales, choirs and of course, the much loved lights with the aim to raise money for the charity.

Warrina Place, Seville Grove

Determined to go bigger and better than their previous years, this Warrina Place home in Seville Grove is going to be displaying over 360,000 Christmas lights. Here, everything that can be lit will be and you will find glowing Santas, Christmas trees and presents lining the rooftop, home and garden. With a brightness that can be seen from space, you won’t want to miss this incredible Christmas display.

Calophylla Way, High Wycombe

The kids will love this Christmas light display on High Wycombe’s Calophylla Way. In support of the Perth Children’s Hospital, this display dazzles with thousands of lights and larger than life inflatable Santas and snowmen. But that’s not all, the home also features music, lasers, projections, snow machines, and so many interactive features that you won’t know where to start. Just don’t forget to look up and catch a glimpse of the stunning roof lights.

Kennack Vista, Atwell

This display in Atwell’s Kennack Vista began over 21 years ago and now lights up in support of Alzheimer’s WA. Since its beginnings with just a single strand of Christmas lights, the Atwell home has expanded its front garden display to include an enchanted tree walk, large inflatables and Christmas music that coordinates to a section of the lights. If you drop by on the weekends and the weeknights leading up to Christmas, you will find a snow machine to enjoy as well.

Langford Avenue, Langford

It’s hard to miss this Langford Avenue home with it’s thousands of sparkling Christmas lights. With a charming Christmas village window display, a magical Christmas garden, and some classic Christmas tunes, this home lights up in support of the miracle Miracle Babies charity that is close to their hearts after their granddaughter was born at just 32 weeks.
