In its 14th year, the Fremantle Arts Centre New Year’s Day Concert is the ultimate Freo way to welcome the New Year. With a diverse music line-up of everything from reggae, gospel and blues to afro and world music, you will hear from the Sunshine Brothers, West Australian Badass Gospel Choir, Dan Howls Band, Jambulance and DJ Butter Chicken. Bring a picnic rug and get comfortable under the trees with a glass of your favourite drink and settle in for the afternoon.

The Gog Block Party | NYD

This event is for those that just aren’t ready to stop the party yet. Taking in The Synagogues multiple venue spaces including, The Arbor, Mr Chapple, L’Chaim and the surrounding carparks, this event will have six stages, ten different zones and over 20 DJ’s making sure that you’re having a good time. The double day party begins on New Year’s Eve and starts up all over again on New Year’s Day. With a silent disco, Aperol Lawn, food trucks and market stalls, it’s guaranteed to be a good one.

Make your way to the beachside Cottesloe Civic Centre for possibly the most stylish event of the day. With a premium seven hour food and drink package, guests will be treated to oysters on arrival, live bands, DJ’s and resort style fashion shows to take in. There’s no better place to start the year than the beach and Coast Port Beach is hosting the biggest beach party of the season with the Motif Open Air New Years Day Beach Festival. Taking over the entire complex, beach and two car parks, the festival is set to start the year with a bang.
