First Au (FAU) is recommencing drilling at Snowstorm at Swifts Creek in Victoria.

Drilling company, Starwest, will be on site within the next two weeks for the upcoming program at the project.

The primary goal of the upcoming drilling program is to extend on previous results with focus areas around areas that showed strong mineralisation.

Gold mineralisation appears to be structurally controlled.

The program will include a minimum of 1500 metres of diamond drilling. The overall program is expected to be completed over several months.

First Au will provide update the market on the drilling program as results begin to flow.

“The previous drilling results combined with recent field-based exploration has provided First Au with the confidence to deliver strong results with the upcoming program,” the company said.

First Au closed up 8.33 per cent at 1.3 cents per share.
