Fluence Corporation (FLC) has announced a board shake-up just before the new year.

The company’s Non-Executive Director Arnon Goldfarb is retiring from his role, effective January 7.

Arnon has been on the board since 2017 and has been an important contribution to the company, especially the Israel Business Unit.

Additionally, Ross Kennedy has also retired from his role as Company Secretary, with his last day today. He commenced the role at the time Fluence listed on the ASX in December 2015 and will continue as a part-time advisor during the transition period.

Melanie Leydin has taken over this role and will commence tomorrow, January 1.

Melanie is also currently a director of a professional company secretarial and accounting firm Leydin Freyer. She brings more than 20 years of experience to Fluence.

Under its gender diversity objectives, Fluence is looking for a female director to join the board.

Chairman and CEO Richard Irving is pleased to welcome Melanie to the company.

“On our retirements, Arnon has always provided strong support to Fluence as the company has grown and refined its strategy, and Ross has been closely involved with Fluence since its Emefcy days including its debut on the ASX and has shown diligent attention throughout,” he said.

“On behalf of the board and management team, I would like to wish Arnon and Ross the very best for the future,” he added.

On the market today, Fluence is up 2.27 per cent and is trading at 22.5 cents per share at 11:06 am AEDT.
