- Jordan spent 10 years working for Elon Musk, helping launch the Tesla Models S, 3, X and Roadster

Lithium producer Vulcan Energy (VUL) has announced a former Tesla Director is joinging its ranks – becoming part of to its Zero Carbon Lithium team.
Jochen Rudat spent 10 years working under Elon Musk at Tesla, the world’s most well-known electric car, helping launch the Models S, 3, X and Roadster in Europe.
Jochen will join Vulcan as a Sales & Marketing Consultant, effective immediately.
His role will be to help the company explore offtake agreement and other partnerships in the electric vehicle and battery sector in Europe.
Besides his time at Tesla, Jochen also has experiene working for car brands such as BMW, Kia and Porsche.
More recently, he worked as Chief Sales Officer at Italian luxury car maker Automobili Pininfarina, helping them launch their own electric vehicle.
Vulcan Managing Director, Francis Wedin, said the company was excited to welcome onboard such an experienced member of the EV industry.
“Jochen will work alongside and complement our Business Development team led by Vincent Pedailles, providing his expert industry insight as we explore offtake agreements and strategic partnerships surrounding our world-first Zero Carbon Lithium product, process and project in Europe,” Francis said.
Shares in Vulcan Energy have opened strong today following the announcement. The stock is currently trading up 18.2 per cent at $1.04 per share at 10:16am AEST.
