Gladiator Resources (GLA) has completed a high-resolution airborne survey and aero magnetics for its Rutherglen Gold Project in Victoria.
The project is located 30 kilometres west of Albury and covers an area of around 368 squared kilometres over the historical Chiltern and Rutherglen goldfields.
The aero magnetics component of the survey was made up of a 2779-kilometre flying distance, undertaken by Magspec Airborne Surveys, at a nominal flying height of 30 metres.
Gladiator says it will review the data generated once it becomes available in order to identify targets for follow up magnetics and drill testing.
The company then expects to undertake further access discussions in order to potentially broaden the scope of any potential work program over the area.
Meanwhile, Gladiator has completed all preparations and permitting to begin drilling on its Bendoc Gold Project, also located in Victoria. However, delays were encountered when contracting a suitable driller.
Discussions are now underway with several potential contractors with the aim to minimise delays to the drilling start time.
Gladiator Resources was trading flat at 1.7 cents at 1:35 pm AEST.
