Global Lithium Resources (GL1) is providing an exploration update, revealing it has wrapped up drilling at the Twin Veins prospect within its Marble Bar Lithium Project.

Located in WA’s Pilbara region, the business has been carrying out a range of works within the project as it tests for additional targets.

The recently completed drill program was designed to follow up on previous hits of three metres at 9.91 grams per tonne gold found at Twin Veins.

Samples from the latest work have been sent off for assaying in Perth, with results expected back in the coming weeks.

The drill rig at Marble Bar has now moved from the prospect to tenement E45/4309 to look for lithium targets outside of the known Archer mineral resource envelope.

Drilling at this site is expected to continue until the start of December, while samples have already been sent to a lab with results expected back early next year.

In addition to this drill program, GL1 advises that it has begun exploring tenements E45/4724 and E45/4669 via a recently completed soil survey program.

The company plans to use the results of the soil program to help guide drill targets and expand the lithium mineralisation at the areas south of Archer.

Finally, Global Lithium Resources said it had completed the field portion of the second heritage survey with the help of the Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation.

GL1 will work with Nyamal to explore the 270 square kilometres (km2) of granted tenements and further 140km2 of tenements under application at Marble Bar.

Global Lithium Resources shares started Tuesday’s trading session at 40 cents each.
