Gold Road Resources (GOR) will acquire the remaining shares in DGO Gold (DGO).

The company previously launched an all-scrip deal, which offered shareholders 2.25 GOR shares for every one DGO share held.

After successfully acquiring 95.14 per cent of DGO shares, Gold Road will now compulsory acquire the remaining shares under the provisions set out in the Corporations Act 2021.

DGO shareholders will still have a chance to participate in the offer, which would see them receive their consideration earlier.

If the offer is not taken up the same consideration will be received, but it could take up to six weeks to process as opposed to seven days under the offer.

The offer will close on Wednesday at 7 pm AEST and will not be extended.

GOR shares were trading 1.91 per cent higher at $1.20 each at 2:08 pm AEST.
