Golden Mile Resources (G88) has commenced aircore drilling at its Yuinmery gold project in Western Australia.
The drill program will consist of 139 holes and aims to test the Elephant Reef, Ladies Patch and Hammerhead gold geochemical targets.
The company has been encouraged from recent gold discoveries in the area and believes its nine kilometre strike length of the Yuinmery fault has the potential to be a major gold fluid pathway.
Following interpretation soil sampling and historical drilling, the company’s geochemical consultant identified 15 gold-in-soil geochemical targets for further work.
The upcoming drilling will test three of these targets. Further drilling will be planned for the remaining targets once assays are received from the current drill program.
Shares were trading in the grey at 5.2 cents at market close.
