Battery metals explorer Green Power Energy has risen 50 percent in the ASX today.

The increase comes after reporting high-grade Copper and Cobalt.

The company found 3.30 percent copper and 0.16 percent cobalt at the Lincoln Springs project in North East Queensland.

Green Power closed at $0.15 last Friday and opened at $0.30 today.

The program is aimed at targeting historic copper workings, copper-cobalt soil anomalies, and Induced Polarisation geophysical targets.

The recent results come from five reverse circulation drillings. Drilling has continued and further results are awaited.
